The Urban Action Trust is a charity set up to help fund mission and church planting in London and beyond. It started life with an endowment of some £300k given for missional church leaders and pioneers to develop their work. The idea of the funding is to invest in the person who is making things happen in transforming their community, and who, with the right resources, could see their work multiply. Hence, this funding catalyses community transformation. Previous awards have funded curates and other support staff, as well as a major refurbishment at St Marks Tollington Park. Examples of recent funding awards are shown on the 'Projects' page.
The trust is looking to fund mission and church planting initiatives in London and beyond, particularly where there is relationship with the Focus Network of churches, planted from or affiliated with Holy Trinity Brompton in London. The trust is looking to expand its funding sources so that it can fund more activity. If you are aware of funders who would like to support this trust, please direct them to the "Donate" page. Funding applications may be made through the "Apply" page. Please check the criteria carefully before applying as we are limited by the trust's objects and financial resources.
