The Urban Action Trust is a charity set up to help fund mission and church planting in London and beyond. The beneficiaries of the Urban Action Trust grant programme are churches and missional communities undertaking church planting initiatives. In particular the trust is looking to fund such mission activity where there is a relationship with the Focus Network of churches, planted from or affiliated with Holy Trinity Brompton in London.
In making grants UAT will aim to resource people who demonstrate gifts and capabilities in transforming their community, and who, with the right resources, could see their work multiply. UAT funding aims to catalyse community transformation.
UAT holds three rounds of applications each year. Deadlines for each round are on 1st January, 1st May and 1st October.
Grants are usually between £5,000 and £10,000.
Our Guidance Notes set out the principal criteria used to assess applications, our general policy and the application process.
These Frequently Asked Questions refer to other issues relating to the application process and UAT’s policy. Both documents are updated regularly and it is important that those who are making applications consult our latest guidance.
